Everton full-back Leighton Baines has suggested that he would welcome Roberto Martinez as the club's new manager this summer.
The Spaniard has been widely tipped to replace David Moyes, who has become Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United, following his decision to leave the DW Stadium this week.
"It all seems to be going on at the moment," Baines told talkSPORT. "Thankfully we're in the international camp so it can be at the back of my mind and I can concentrate and focus more on England. Roberto Martinez has been linked with the job and he is a terrific manager so we'll have to wait and see."
Martinez is believed to have already held talks with Everton chairman Bill Kenwright.
