Everton boss Roberto Martinez is eyeing a £6m swoop for Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld, according to a report.
The 24-year-old has impressed several Premier League clubs with his performances last season and has been linked with a move away from Frank de Boer's side.
Martinez sent scouts to watch the Belgium international in the Dutch Super Cup as he prepares a £6m move, which may require him to sell Jonny Heitinga, reports The People.
Alderweireld made 41 appearances for Ajax in all competitions last season.
