Everton manager Roberto Martinez has claimed that there have been no fresh approaches from Manchester United or any other club for duo Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.
The Merseyside outfit described United's joint £28m offer for both players as "derisory and insulting", but there had been suggestions that the Premier League champions would return with an improved bid.
"Everything's been quiet on that front and everything has been as we've informed our fans, and I think it's the way we're going to deal with the window now," Martinez said in a press conference.
"We're still trying to be as strong as we can. If there's anything we need to inform our fans, we will do, but now the focus has to be the games."
Arsenal, who have come under pressure from their fans due to the lack of summer spending, are also thought to be interested in Fellaini.
