Ryan Conroy scored the only goal of the match as Raith Rovers won at Falkirk in the Scottish Championship on Saturday.
The first real chance of the game fell to Conroy after 17 minutes, but the Raith midfielder could only fire his effort wide of the post.
His teammate Dougie Hill and Falkirk's Craig Sibbald then had chances at either end, but neither could find the target.
Raith continued to look the more likely in the second period, with Rory Loy having two chances to work the goalkeeper.
Conroy then came close with a header after 65 minutes, but could not direct his effort on target.
He was not to be denied 10 minutes from time, however, when the 27-year-old found the bottom corner following excellent work from Rory McKeown.
Raith remain seventh in the table despite the 1-0 win, while Falkirk are also unmoved in fifth.
