FC Twente lock horns with FC Utrecht at the Grolsch Veste Stadium on Sunday looking to end a run of seven games without a win.
The away side are unbeaten in their last six games on the road, and they will aim to extend that run in order to keep up with their rivals in the race for European qualification.
Match preview
Twente were defeated for the second game in a row as they lost 1-0 against PEC Zwolle at the MAC³PARK Stadion on Saturday.
The game was decided 10 minutes before half time when Virgil Misidjan ended a four-game barren run with his fourth goal of the season.
That defeat left Ron Jans's men in ninth place, seven points away from the playoff places with five games left to play.
The Tukkers now have a mountain to climb if they are to usurp the likes of Utrecht and Groningen and secure a spot in Europe next term.
In the meantime, the objective is claiming all three points against a side who have beaten them in each of the last two meetings, including October's reverse fixture at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
Utrecht became the first team to stop Ajax from winning a league game in seven weeks by claiming an impressive 1-1 draw on Thursday at the Johan Cruyff ArenA.
Simon Gustafson opened the scoring from the penalty spot after nice work from Gyrano Kerk, but Edson Alvarez made the Eredivisie leaders' second-half pressure count with an equaliser twenty minutes from time.
Rene Hake's men are still on course to finish in seventh place at least as they currently hold a five-point buffer over Heracles in eighth.
Trips to Twente in recent times have often been unpleasant for the visitors who have lost five of their last seven games.
The Domstedelingen have the fifth-best away record in the division, and they will be out for yet another fruitful outing on the road.

Team News
Christopher Mamengi is nearing a comeback later in the month after missing the last three months of action due to an ankle injury that he picked up while on duty with the reserve team.
Justin Hoogma will also be unavailable for the visitors as he works his way back to full fitness following his recovery from a knee problem.
Bart Ramselaar was subbed off with a head injury versus ADO Den Haag two weeks ago, and he is expected to play no part in this weekend's game.
Twente's Julio Pleguezuelo and Vaclav Cerny picked up season-ending knee injuries in February, ruling them out for this one.
Wout Brama is the final absentee for the hosts as he remains sidelined with a leg injury through which he has missed the last two matches.
FC Twente possible starting lineup:
Drommel; Smal, Pierie, Dumic, Ebuehi; Roemeratoe, Bosch, Zerrouki; Menig, Danilo, Van Leeuwen
FC Utrecht possible starting lineup:
Oelschlagel; Warmerdam, Janssen, Van der Maarel, Ter Avest; Van Overeem, Van de Streek, Maher; Boussaid, Kerk, Gustafson
We say: FC Twente 1-3 FC Utrecht
Both sides are still in with a shout in the race to secure continental football for next season, so nothing but three points will do for either team. The visitors come into this one in better form, and we are tipping them to carry the day.
