Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie admits that he is unhappy with his current playing time at his Turkish club.

Robin van Persie has admitted that all parties "have to find a solution" to his current situation at Turkish club Fenerbahce.

The Dutchman joined the Istanbul outfit from Manchester United last summer, but has largely struggled to hold down a regular spot.

The 32-year-old started his team's Europa League last-32 first leg against Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday, but was replaced before the end of the match.

Van Persie has claimed that he is desperate to make his mark for Fenerbahce, but is frustrated with his current playing time.

"Fenerbahce paid a big transfer fee for me so I want to help the team," Van Persie told Fanatik. "But I cannot contribute as much as I want when I am taken off each game. I cannot be efficient like this. We have to find a solution for this situation."

The experienced striker has scored nine times for his Turkish club this season.
