Fenerbahce will be looking to continue their three-match unbeaten run in all competitions this weekend when they welcome Alanyaspor in their latest match in the Turkish Super Lig.
The visitors sit just two points behind their opponents, giving them the chance to progress up the table with a victory on Sunday.
Match preview
Fenerbahce have only lost a single game this season in the Turkish Super Lig, and the squad have shown consistency throughout their games.
With three victories and a draw the hosts currently find themselves in seventh place, and a victory at the weekend could see them rise as high as second, while also boasting a game in hand on the league leaders.
Jorge Jesus has witnessed his team perform in the Europa League for their previous two outings, and they have made a confident start in the group with a draw and a win.
Their latest game took place in midweek and highlighted the fighting spirit that the squad possesses as they came back from two nil down to secure a point.
A goal from Irfan Kahveci was followed up by a last-minute equaliser by Enner Valencia, and that will have given the squad a confidence booster heading into this one.
However, the visitors are not short on momentum themselves, after winning their second game of the season during their most recent outing.
Alanyaspor defeated Ankaragucu 2-1 last weekend, with Efkan Bekiroglu scoring a crucial 87th-minute winner to help the club move further up the table.
That result brought an end to their two-game losing streak, and the squad will now be keen to start putting more wins together in order to kickstart their season.
Defensively the visitors do need to show improvements though as they have already conceded 10 goals across their first six games, which is the worst record of any team in the top half.
Considering the fact that Fenerbahce have scored more goals than anybody in the league so far, it is a situation they will have to be wary of.

Team News
Former Chelsa striker Michy Batshuayi has settled into life in Turkey well since making the move, immediately moving into the Fenerbahce starting lineup to lead the line for the squad, which should be the case again this weekend.
Nazim Sangare remains the only injury concern for Jesus, which is a situation he has been dealing with for a while due to the issue being a long-term knee injury.
Famara Diedhiou has yet to make an appearance for the visitors this season due to an injury he picked up on international duty before the campaign commenced.
That is not the only injury that Alanyaspor are dealing with either as experienced midfielder Efecan Karaca is also on the shelf right now.
Fenerbahce possible starting lineup:
Bayindir; Henrique, Szalai, Peres; Kadioglu, Kahveci, Arao, Crespo, Alioski; King, Batshuayi
Alanyaspor possible starting lineup:
Runarsson; Pereira, Bayir, Balkovec, Aksoy; Fer, Gunes; Aydin, Bekiroglu, Ferhat; Eduardo
We say: Fenerbahce 2-1 Alanyaspor
This game sees the strongest attacking squad in the Turkish Super Lig come up against one of the weakest defences so far, which could lead to a very open game on Sunday.
Fenerbahce have been impressive so far, and they head into this one after two strong Europa League performances which should help them take all three points here.
