Vincenzo Montella says that Fiorentina can go to the "next level" and still have a lot of room for growth.

Vincenzo Montella has said that his Fiorentina side can still improve following their strong start to the season.

The Viola are currently fourth in the Serie A table and will be competing in the Europa League in the New Year.

"Fiorentina are still incomplete," Montella told Sport Mediaset. "There is still a lot of room for growth.

"I think we can achieve that next level. Giuseppe Rossi is a footballing genius and a great guy.

"It is like an oasis here for me. It's just the fact that football is a results business, and if there are a lot of defeats, who knows what will happen?"

Fiorentina host Livorno in Serie A on January 5.
