Goals either side of half time have helped Fiorentina to a comfortable 2-0 win at Hellas Verona in Serie A.
The visitors dominated the opening stages and took a deserved lead in the 25th minute thanks to a howler from Verona defender Rafael Marquez.
The Mexican centre-back put the ball past his own goalkeeper under pressure from Nikola Kalinic, who bore down on goal after being picked out by Manuel Pasqual.
It took Fiorentina until the 57th minute to claim their second, which Kalinic buried from close range after latching on to Giuseppe Rossi's cross.
Neither side created much after the second goal went in, but Fiorentina almost had a third in the 69th minute when Borja Valero's goal-bound effort was blocked by a last-ditch challenge.
The win moves Fiorentina up to second place in the table, two points behind leaders Roma.
