Fiorentina overturned a 2-0 deficit to claim a point against AC Milan in Serie A this lunchtime.
The visitors got off to a quick start with a Riccardo Montolivo strike putting Milan ahead inside in the opening 15 minutes.
The Rossoneri continued to look the more threatening of the two sides in the first half, with Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy both having chances to add to the scoreline.
Fiorentina were reduced to 10 men just before half time as Nenad Tomovic was sent off for catching El Shaarawy in the face with his elbow.
The visitors dominated the start of the second half and doubled their lead in the 62nd minute when Mathieu Flamini slotted the ball in from close range.
However, the hosts had a chance to get back into the match four minutes later, when Antonio Nocerino conceded a penalty, fouling Adem Ljajic.
Ljajic himself stepped up to take the spot kick, blasting it into the centre of the goal and beating Christian Abbiati.
Fiorentina were awarded another penalty in the 73rd minute after Mattia De Sciglio brought down Juan Guillermo Cuadrado.
This time it was David Pizarro who took the kick and Abbiati was unable to make the save, allowing the home side to level the scores.
Both teams had chances to score the winner, but neither could find the back of the net in a frantic final 10 minutes.
The result leaves Milan third in the table, while Fiorentina remain fourth.
