Fulham manager Martin Jol has hailed the impact of 21-year-old midfielder Pajtim Kasami following the youngster's return to the club.
The Swiss international spent last season on loan at Lucerne in his native country, but since returning to London, Kasami has featured in three of Fulham's four Premier League games.
The central midfielder even managed to get himself on the scoresheet on the opening day of the season, and Jol now sees the youngster as a vital cog in his Fulham side.
"Kasami was on the fringes [last season]," Jol told the Fulham Chronicle. "He was another one who wanted to play. He played for Lucerne and made big steps.
"He scored his first goals for the Under-21s last week and played for us against Sunderland. He's better than he was before; stronger and one of our key players this season."
Kasami arrived at Fulham from Italian side Palermo two years ago.
