Fulham head coach Rene Meulensteen has insisted that he has the "full support" of Fulham owner Shahid Khan as his side battle against relegation from the Premier League.
The Cottagers fell to the bottom of the league following their home defeat to Southampton, and although Meulensteen only took over midway through this season he has come under pressure from some quarters. The coach, however, is not concerned.
"I have been in contact with the owner [and we have] a good dialogue, I have his full support," BBC Sport quotes Meulensteen as saying. "We are focused and optimistic.
"It is the biggest challenge I've faced but it's not one I'll walk away from and I'm well aware we need results. It's not pressure, it's a challenge. Life throws up challenges you have to accept it and rise to it."
Fulham take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
