Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has insisted that there is still time for the struggling West London club to get themselves clear of relegation danger.
Stekelenburg said that, while he is pleased with his own performances so far this season, the team must start to pick up results sooner rather than later.
"In my position, you have a lot of responsibility," he told the club's official website. "The spotlight is on, and if you make a mistake it's often highlighted.
"I know I can play well but still be on the losing team - that's the life of a goalkeeper. This is a team sport, so we score and concede goals together. I'm pleased with how I've been playing but, at the same time, football is based on results.
"I'm just focusing on the next game and thankfully, there are a lot of matches to play at the moment. There's a lot of opportunities for us to put things right."
