Sports Mole previews Saturday's Championship clash between mid-table duo Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday at Craven Cottage.

Fulham will be looking to string consecutive wins together for the first time since September-October when they host Sheffield Wednesday at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Kit Symons's side bounced back from a humiliating home defeat to Watford with a 1-0 victory at Leeds United last weekend, a result that saw them climb seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Consistency continues to be the major problem for Fulham, however, and it is an issue that they will need to address if they are to make a belated push for the playoffs in the second half of the season.

They had appeared to have sorted out their poor home form at least, with four wins and no defeats at Craven Cottage before the 5-0 hammering at the hands of Watford earlier this month.

One bright point in recent weeks has been the form of Hugo Rodallega, however, with the striker having scored or assisted six of his side's last seven goals.

He is expected to start up front once again, while Gabor Kiraly should continue between the sticks due to Marcus Bettinelli's ongoing suspension.

While Fulham have seen more goals in their matches than any other team in the Championship this season, with 70 in 21 outings, Wednesday are exactly the opposite.

There have been just 33 goals in their 21 matches, with the Owls posting both the joint-worst attack and the second best defence in the division.

Their mini recent revival was halted last weekend with a 1-0 defeat at home to out-of-form Wolverhampton Wanderers, but in many ways they will be pleased to be back on the road this Saturday.

Only Blackpool have amassed fewer points in front of their own fans than Wednesday this season, but Stuart Gray's side have the third-best away record in the division, with 17 of their 28 points coming on the road.

Indeed, they have only been beaten once and conceded seven goals on their travels all season, both of which are the best records in the league.

Gray has no new injury concerns for this match but could make changes to his side, with Atdhe Nuhiu among those to potentially make way.
