Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo has agreed personal terms with Monaco ahead of his proposed move.
The Ligue 1 club are keen to strengthen in central defence, with Axel Disasi on the verge of completing a move to Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have reached an agreement with Monaco over a €45m (£38.7m) deal for the France international.
A recent report claimed that Monaco are close to signing Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu after having a bid accepted by the Championship side.
Salisu is set to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer, and the defender could be joined in the Principality by Adarabioyo.
The 25-year-old has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, but he has made it clear that he would rather join Monaco this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Adarabioyo has now agreed personal terms in principle with the Ligue 1 club, leaving it up to the two clubs to finalise a transfer.
Monaco are currently in talks with Fulham over a fee, having already tabled a £4.2m bid for the former Manchester City academy player.
Les Monegasques are confident of getting a deal over the line, and there is a possibility that a transfer could be completed by the end of the week.
Adarabioyo, who has spent three years at Craven Cottage, is set to leave the West London club after making 107 appearances across all competitions.
The centre-back was part of the Fulham side that won promotion to the top flight in 2021-22, before going on to feature in 25 Premier League games last season, helping the club finish in 10th place.
With Adarabioyo heading towards the exit door, Fulham have strengthened their defence with the addition of Calvin Bassey.
After arriving from Ajax in a €21m (£18m) deal, the Nigeria international made his first appearance for his new club in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League Summer Series.
