Galatasaray chairman Unal Aysal has claimed that Wesley Sneijder hopes to end his career with the Turkish club.
The Super Lig champions announced on Sunday night that they had agreed a deal for the Inter Milan midfielder.
"It's a big achivement for Sneijder to play at Galatasaray," Aysal told GSTV.
"He said he is coming to end his career here. Our expectations won't be unfulfilled."
Sneijder will reportedly cost Gala around €7.5m (£6.3m).
