Germany manager Joachim Low could be forced to work around a quartet of absentees for Sunday's World Cup Qualifying Group J clash with Romania on Sunday evening.
Low lost Niklas Sule and Robin Gosens to injury before their midweek win over Iceland and the pair remain doubts here, while Jonas Hofmann tested positive for coronavirus and is undergoing a self-isolation period.
Marcel Halstenberg also missed out against Iceland after being identified as a close contact of Hofmann, so Emre Can could be forced to deputise at left-back once more, although Philipp Max is ready to be called upon.
However, the visiting manager has no reason to alter the rearguard after a clean sheet, so Antonio Rudiger, Matthias Ginter and Lukas Klostermann are all expected to retain their places in front of Manuel Neuer.
Toni Kroos's absence did not affect Germany and their star-studded midfield on Thursday, as Leon Goretzka and Ilkay Gundogan will seek to build on the goals they struck against Iceland, with Joshua Kimmich set for another start after overcoming a bout of illness.
Timo Werner will hope to come into Low's thinking for a start, but his Chelsea teammate Kai Havertz will not want to be dropped after taking just seven minutes to score on matchday one, while Bayern Munich duo Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane should provide the width.
Germany possible starting lineup:
Neuer; Klostermann, Ginter, Rudiger, Can; Kimmich, Goretzka, Gundogan; Gnabry, Havertz, Sane
