Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has admitted that he would have preferred a 2-0 win over Sweden than to have to come back from 2-0 down to win 5-3 as they did on the night.
Schweinsteiger, who collected his 100th cap for Germany in the game, said that scoring plenty of goals is always good, but that there needs to be an improvement at the back.
"It's always nice when there are a lot of goals, but it was a strange first half," Schweinsteiger told Bundesliga.com. "We had chances, but Sweden scored the goals.
"We also had chances to score after the break. I think qualification has gone really well, even though 5-3 isn't the best result; 2-0 would have been better."
Germany won every game in Group C except the 4-4 draw against Sweden last October.
