Goztepe SK will look to end a run of eight consecutive defeats when they welcome Kayserispor to the Kadir Has Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors, meanwhile, are also hoping to halt their current woeful run of form with all of their last five Super Lig matches ending in defeat.
Match preview
Barring a miracle, Goztepe's five-season stay in the Super Lig is set to end after the final seven league matches with nine points separating them from safety.
Matters looked so much brighter at the end of January, as Goztepe enjoyed a three-point gap to the drop zone, but their season has imploded in their last eight matches.
Those eight contests all ended in defeat, with Saturday's hosts conceding 22 goals in that period, resulting in them dropping down to 18th place.
What is more concerning for Stjepan Tomas's side is that they have lost the last two matches without finding the net themselves, highlighting that they have issues at both ends of the pitch.
However, while it still remains mathematically possible, Goztepe must keep fighting, and with all of their last three meetings with Kayserispor ending all square, they know that they can take points off Saturday's opponents.
Like their hosts, Kayserispor are also in freefall after losing their last five league matches, leaving them in 15th position.
Although their place in the league standings may suggest that they are in danger of dropping into the bottom four, a nine-point gap to the relegation zone will bring comfort to Saturday's visitors.
However, with points proving hard to come by, they will not want to leave their safety up to other sides, with an upturn in fortunes desperately needed.
Kayserispor enter Saturday's contest bereft of confidence after losing their last two matches by an aggregate 7-0 scoreline, with their most recent encounter resulting in a 4-0 home defeat to Fenerbahce.
One win in their 15 away league games will do little to raise spirits, and the visitors may just be content with taking a point from Saturday's encounter.

Team News
A knee injury is set to rule Atinc Nukan out for the hosts, while Marko Mihojevic and Francois Moubandje are sidelined for the rest of the season.
Murat Paluli will also miss the contest with the defender set to serve a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
Franco Di Santo dropped down to the bench last weekend, but he could return to the starting lineup to face Kayserispor.
As for the away side, they will be without Onur Bulut, who is suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
With Bulut unavailable, Ramazan Civelek may come into the side with the 26-year-old expected to slot in at right-back.
Karaman could also be tempted into at least one change in midfield, with Andrea Bertolacci a potential candidate to line up in the centre of the park, which could result in Abdulkadir Parmak dropping down to the bench.
Goztepe SK possible starting lineup:
Piric; Alici, Arslanagic, Demirtas, Emir; Aydogdu, Nwobodo; Akbunar, Kara, Ndiaye; Di Santo
Kayserispor possible starting lineup:
Lung Jr., Civelek, Hosseini, Cetin, Carole; Bassan, Kemen, Campanharo, Bertolacci, Cardoso; Gavranovic
We say: Goztepe SK 1-1 Kayserispor
Both sides have seemingly forgotten how to win games, and with the last three meetings between the teams ending in 1-1 draws, we think that Saturday's contest will also finish with that familiar scoreline.
