A goal apiece from Kayode Odejayi and Scott Fenwick leaves the half-time score at 1-1 in this relegation clash between Tranmere and Hartlepool.
The match started at a quick pace with Michael Woods forcing Owain Fon Williams to tip the ball over the bar, while Odejayi and Danny Holmes forced Pools keeper Scott Flinders into some early saves.
A cross from George Donnelly on the left provided the breakthrough, finding Odejayi at the back post and his placed volley was enough to beat Flinders and find the net.
Pool drew level after recent loan signing Aaron Tshibola's shot was parried by Fon Williams and Scott Fenwick was on hand to smash the ball into the back of the net. Tranmere and Donnelly then looked to hit back immediately but the winger was deemed offside as he scored.
The closest either team came to another goal was Lee Molyneux's 30-yard free kick which just curled over the bar, the scores remaining level at 1-1.
