Hartlepool United boss Ronnie Moore and his assistant Sam Collins have been offered long-term contracts at the club.
New chairman Gary Coxall wants to reward the duo for helping the club avoid relegation to the Conference last term by securing their futures.
"A new contract, longer term, for Ronnie and Sam," Coxall told the Hartlepool Mail. "There is no beating around the bush trying to be political.
"We have had discussions, which were positive, and hopefully there will be an announcement soon. We need to secure those two."
Hartlepool were 10 points adrift from safety when former Tranmere Rovers boss Moore succeeded Paul Murray in December, but they secured their league status with one game to spare.
