Fraser Fyvie has agreed to join Scottish Championship side Hibernian until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old was a free agent after being released from his contract by Wigan Athletic and, after putting pen to paper at the Edinburgh outfit, Fyvie has set his sights on promotion to the top flight.
He is quoted by STV as saying: "I'm really pleased to sign for Hibs – as soon as I heard about the opportunity it excited me.
"I was keen to head back up to Scotland and Hibs are a club going in the right direction, so everything about this move made sense.
"My first goal will be to earn a place in the starting line-up and then I want to help Hibs to achieve promotion."
Hibs are currently third in the Championship, behind promotion rivals Hearts and Rangers.
