Hoffenheim have come from behind to lead 2-1 at the break in their DFB-Pokal quarter-final clash against Borussia Dortmund.
The home side had the first chance at goal as Henrikh Mkhitaryan won the ball in midfield and raided towards the edge of the box before he unleashed a powerful drive, which was well saved by Oliver Baumann.
Dortmund went ahead in the 19th minute when they won a corner and from Jakub Blaszczykowski's delivery from the right Neven Subotic met the ball on the volley and his effort squeezed past Baumann at the near post.
However, Hoffenheim drew level immediately as Sebastian Rudy raced down the flank and lifted a cross to the back post where he found the run of Kevin Volland, and the forward made no mistake firing an effort past Mitchell Langerak with a left-footed strike.
The visitors completed the turnaround when they took the lead as Subotic failed to control the ball and allowed Roberto Firmino to race through on goal. The striker showed composure to chip his effort over Langerak and into the net.
