Hoffenheim January signing Jiloan Hamad has insisted that his new club was the right one to choose, despite having options from other leagues.
Hamad, who agreed the January move back in October, said that he still has a lot to learn and wants to improve quickly at Hoffenheim.
"I was in contact with teams in Russia, Italy, France and England, but none of them gave me anywhere near as good a feeling as Hoffenheim," he told Bundesliga.com. "Markus Gisdol and the sporting director believe in me, so it wasn't a difficult decision to make.
"I want to be successful. I'm a quick learner. Both on and off the pitch, this is the right club to help further my development. I'd love to be involved in the first game against Nuremberg."
Hamad has been capped six times by Sweden.
