Werder Bremen have moved up to eighth in the Bundesliga with a 4-1 away victory over Hoffenheim, thanks to a hat-trick from Marko Arnautovic.
The visitors took the lead at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena midway through the first half, when Sebastian Prodl headed home Kevin De Bruyne's delivery from close range.
Eight minutes later Arnautovic made it 2-0 to Bremen when he latched on to De Bruyne's through ball and shot home from the centre of the box.
Hoffenheim halved the deficit in the opening minutes of the second half, Sejad Salihovic turning in Roberto Firmino's pass from the right side of the box.
However, Bremen restored their two-goal advantage in the 73rd minute through Arnautovic, who scored from a direct free kick.
The Austria international striker completed his hat-trick six minutes later when released by Joseph Akpala, he fired into the top-left corner of the Hoffenheim goal.
