Hoffenheim have grabbed three points at home to Hannover thanks to a 3-1 victory in the Bundesliga this evening.
Hannover took the lead after only 10 minutes through Leon Andreasen, who did well to make space for Lars Stindl's through-ball.
The lead wasn't to last long, however, as Eugen Polanski rifled home a standout effort from distance into the bottom corner in the 13th minute.
Roberto Firmino sought to put Hoffenheim into the lead halfway through the opening period, but he sent an effort wide of the post having found space inside the box.
The hosts regained the lead just after half time when Anthony Modeste hit a left-footed shot from the centre of the box past the keeper, having made the most of Firmino's pass.
Sebastian Rudy made the result concrete deep into injury time when he was found by Tarik Elyounoussi, before lashing home a standout effort from distance to leave the final score at 3-1.
