Bournemouth have continued their preparations for their first season in the Premier League with a goalless draw against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
The Cherries almost took an early lead at the Rhein-Neckar Arena when Shaun MacDonald's effort was saved by Oliver Baumann.
Midway through the first period, new signing Joshua King tried to play Callum Wilson into a shooting position, but Wilson's touch proved too heavy at the crucial moment.
Moments later Wilson raced through on Hoffenheim's goal, but Baumann stood tall to keep out the Cherries forward.
Early in the second half, MacDonald wasted another opportunity for Eddie Howe's men as he headed Matt Ritchie's free kick straight at Baumann.
Wilson again tried to find a way through when he headed Ritchie's corner over the bar late on as Bournemouth rounded off their pre-season programme with a draw.
