Houston Dynamo have demolished Chivas USA 5-1 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The results leaves Dominic Kinnear's men in fourth place in the MLS Eastern Conference, five points behind leaders New York Red Bulls and four clear of sixth-placed Chicago Fire.
Giles Barnes got the hosts up and running in the 38th minute but Eric Avila found the net just before half time to send the teams in level at the break.
However, the Texan team stepped up a gear in the second half and were rewarded when Barnes beat Dan Kennedy for a second time.
Will Bruin made it 3-1 10 minutes later, before Oscar Boniek Garcia scored twice to complete the rout before the full-time whistle.
