Chris Powell has said that his side need a "different mindset" following a heavy defeat to Brentford in the Championship this evening.
After reaching half time level, Huddersfield let in three goals in the second half to hand the Bees a 4-1 victory, which leaves Huddersfield 15th in the table.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, the manager said: "We got back in the game, but we needed to start the second half well. They punished us. When you start halves in the way that we did tonight, you will get punished, regardless of the opposition
"Conceding so early in the second half left us chasing the game. Alex Smithies was very good this evening, making some good saves. That's saying something when you concede four.
"They haven't shown it in the last two games, but these players are good enough at this level. You've got to try and be better. We're not consistent enough and we concede too many goals. That's not typical of a team of mine. We need a different mindset."
Huddersfield face Rotherham United in their next match on Saturday.
