Burnley are allegedly planning to lodge an £8m bid for Huddersfield Town striker Nahki Wells.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is lining up the Bermuda international as a potential replacement for Andre Gray, according to The Mirror.
Wells was instrumental in Huddersfield's promotion-winning campaign of 2016-17, contributing 10 goals to help the club to playoff success.
However, the forward has just 12 months remaining on his Terriers contract and is yet to agree fresh terms.
Burnley, meanwhile, are said to be having difficulty tying Gray down with a new contract amid reports that Everton are planning to swoop for the striker.
