A goal from Chuba Akpom has put Hull City 1-0 ahead at the break in their Championship clash against Bolton Wanderers at the KC Stadium.
The visitors were the first to threaten when Neil Danns lined up a strike from the edge of the box, but he put his effort narrowly past the post.
Ahmed Elmohamady came close to an opener when he latched on to a cross from the left from Sam Clucas, but the winger could only head his effort wide of the target.
The Tigers took the lead in the 19th minute when Elmohamady found space to fire an effort at goal, only to be denied by Ben Amos, but Akpom was on hand to smash the rebound into the net.
The home side pushed for a second goal before the break and came close right before the whistle when Clucas latched on to a low cross into the box, but he put his strike over the bar on the stretch.
