A Robbie Brady penalty has given promotion-chasing Hull City the lead against Ipswich Town this afternoon.
Hull started well, with Jay Simpson winning a couple of early corners. Jack Hobbs missed with a volley from the first, before David Meyler glanced a header wide.
They almost forced an own goal shortly afterwards, when Ahmed El Mohamady's cross was chested back to the goalkeeper by Richard Stearman. The defender got it slightly wrong though and Scott Loach had to react quickly to prevent an own goal.
With 15 minutes to go until half time, Hull took the lead. Guirane N'Daw tripped David Meyler in the penalty area and Robbie Brady made no mistake from 12 yards.
There were few other chances before the interval and it is the away side who lead after 45 minutes.
