Hull City have progressed to the second round of the League Cup following a thrilling penalty-shootout victory over Rotherham United on Saturday.
After a barren first half, Rotherham went ahead on 52 minutes when Lionel Ainsworth found the target from just outside the penalty box.
However, Hull restored parity in the 70th minute when Aaron Mclean scored from close range.
Neither side could add to the score in normal time, and the match subsequently went into extra-time, which also failed to produce any goals.
The penalty shootout was more intense, though, as both sides found the target until it was 7-6 to Hull, and Johnny Mullins failed to convert his spot-kick.
