Sone Aluko has admitted that he is frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at Hull City this season.
The striker has found appearances hard to come by during the second half of the campaign due to the arrivals of Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic in January.
Aluko came off the bench on Sunday to help Hull beat Sheffield United 5-3 in the FA Cup semi-finals, and the 25-year-old now hopes that manager Steve Bruce will give him more chances to make his mark.
The Nigerian told the Hull Daily Mail: "If you are not playing in the league or in the cup games, then pretty much you are not playing at all and you start thinking, 'Is this for me? Do I need to find a new club?'
"It does go through your head, so it was important for me to come on and make an impact. It was good to show the manager what I can do and hopefully it bodes well."
Hull's Premier League campaign continues on Sunday at home to Arsenal.
