Steve Bruce has admitted that Hull City need Nikica Jelavic back to his best in the closing stages of the season.
Jelavic came on as a substitute in the loss to Arsenal on Monday after over a month on the sidelines with another injury setback, and Bruce believes that the Croatian can play a key role as the Tigers look to avoid relegation.
"We're running out of games," the Hull boss told reporters. "We'll see how he trains this week and we'll go from there but he comes into your thoughts because he's such a big player.
"If you need someone to score a goal, he's capable."
Hull are currently one point above the relegation zone in 17th place.
