Hull City's Liam Rosenior has insisted that while it does feel good to get on the scoresheet, the win against West Bromwich Albion was more important than individual accolades.
The defender headed in after Nikica Jelavic had a penalty saved, before Shane Long added a second.
"It's nice to score but the most important thing was that we won the game and get three points which is close to fulfilling our objective, which is staying in the Premier League," Rosenior is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"I don't even score in training so the lads are giving me stick but more importantly we've got the win."
Hull are 12th in the Premier League table.
