Hull City defender Paul McShane has admitted that manager Steve Bruce was furious with his side following their 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Saturday.
The Tigers became the first team to lose to the Clarets this season as Ashley Barnes scored the only goal of the game to fire Sean Dyche's men to victory at Turf Moor.
McShane told the club's official website: "It was a frustrating one because we didn't really get going. We didn't start great and it didn't improve until the last 20-odd minutes when we only had ten men but even then we didn't create any clear-cut chances.
"Everybody was angry in the changing room afterwards, especially the manager and I can understand that. He had the right to be angry.
"It was a game that we were coming to collect three points from because we know, without being disrespectful, that we have to get points against the teams that are going to be down there. If you can't get the three points, make sure you don't get beaten. We didn't do either of those."
Hull are 15th in the Premier League following their defeat to Burnley.
