Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that midfielder Robert Snodgrass could miss up to six months of action with a dislocated knee cap.
The 26-year-old was expected to be on the sidelines for a lengthy period of time after suffering the injury in last weekend's 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Recent reports claimed that a four-month layoff was likely for the midfielder, but Bruce has now told Sky Sports News that Snodgrass could be out of the team for as long as six months.
The Tigers secured the midfielder's signature for around £8m from Norwich City this summer.
