Hull City boss Steve Bruce has urged his players to 'take their chance' and beat fellow strugglers Sunderland.
The Tigers, who are currently four points clear of the drop zone, welcome the Black Cats to the KC Stadium tomorrow night.
A victory for Hull would significantly ease their relegation worries, and Bruce is eager to see his side boost their chances of survival.
"It gives us a wonderful opportunity of putting some daylight between ourselves and Sunderland in the bottom three," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "If we take that opportunity, it's a tremendous platform for us which is always good with 10 games to go.
"We're both fighting for our lives at the moment. I'm sure Gus Poyet is also seeing it as a tremendous opportunity to get a result to relieve the pressure."
Hull saw their two-game winning run ended on the weekend with a 1-0 defeat at Stoke City.
