Jay Simpson's 85th-minute strike was enough to give Hull City the points against Brighton & Hove Albion at the KC Stadium this afternoon.
Simpson had only been on the pitch five minutes before he smashed an effort beyond Brighton keeper Robert Kuszczak.
Brighton manager Gus Poyet sent on Torbjorn Agdestein in an attempt to rescue a point, but it proved to be too little, too late for the South-Coast outfit.
Hull travel to Blackburn on Wednesday, while Brighton entertain Cardiff on Tuesday night.
