Hull City have clinched a 3-1 win over Turkey's Caykur Rizespor in Wednesday's pre-season friendly in Austria, with Abel Hernandez netting a brace for Mike Phelan's charges.
The Tigers got off to the worst possible start at the Kufstein Arena as Slovenian Matic Fink struck in the third minute after the Premier League side failed to clear their lines.
On the half-hour mark, Rizespor goalkeeper Gokhan Akkan brought Hernandez down in the area, prompting the referee to give Hull a spot kick, and the Uruguayan duly slotted into the bottom corner to draw level.
In the 55th minute the East Yorkshire side surged into the lead after Hernandez fired an emphatic header past Akkan, before wrapping up the victory thanks to Robert Snodgrass's half-volley with a quarter of an hour to go.
The result means that Hull maintain their unbeaten pre-season record as the Premier League season - and their first fixture, against champions Leicester City - edges ever closer.
