Hull City manager Steve Bruce is reportedly hoping to make Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor his first signing as manager of the club.
The 30-year-old is likely to become a free agent in the coming days after he rejected the transfer of his contract with Rangers to a newco.
That news has alerted Bruce, who is currently without an established goalkeeper in his squad.
However, any switch for McGregor to the KC Stadium would depend upon him taking a pay cut, according to The People.
McGregor joined the Gers in 1998 as a trainee.
