Swansea City maintained their winning start to the season with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The Swans raced ahead with just two minutes on the clock courtesy of Nathan Dyer's well-taken effort, while Wayne Routledge added his side's second with a fine strike on the 24-minute mark.

Dyer rounded off the scoring with his second 20 minutes from time to leave the Swans sitting atop the Premier League after three games.

Here, Sports Mole looks at who impressed in South Wales.

Goal

Lukasz Fabianski Was not called into action on too many occasions, but when he was needed he was always there to keep the ball out. (8/10)

Defence

Angel Rangel Defensively Swansea had little to do, but Rangel often looked to get the ball up the line to Dyer, which led to promising attacks. (8/10)

Ashley Williams: Another solid showing from the captain, but he perhaps should have been penalised for dragging Jonas Olsson down inside the box in the first half. (7/10)

Jordi Amat: A second successive clean sheet for the hosts in the Premier League, and Amat can be pleased with his display. (8/10)

Neil Taylor: It says it all that at one stage in the opening 45 minutes, Taylor was the most advanced Swans player, looking to latch onto a through ball. (8/10)

Midfield

Ki Sung-yeung: Dictates play from his deep-lying role in midfield, but so much more to his game than simply keeping the ball ticking over. (8/10)

Jonjo Shelvey: Followed up his fine debut campaign in South Wales with equally impressive showings so far this time around. So often the man who started attacks from the middle of the park. (8/10)

Nathan Dyer: Not only did he score two goals this afternoon, but Dyer also whipped in numerous dangerous crosses into the box for his teammates. Fantastic performance. (9/10)

Gylfi Sigurdsson: In a game full of many great individual showings, Sigurdsson just about takes the man of the match accolade for his two assists and all-round display. That's now four in two games since returning to the Liberty Stadium. (9/10)

Wayne Routledge: Struck a Goal of the Season contender in the first half, but faded somewhat in the second before being replaced on the hour. (8/10)

Attack

Wilfried Bony: Could this be Bony's last appearance in the white of Swansea? If he is to leave before the transfer window closes, then this was a brilliant way to go out. Failed to score, but did just about everything else. (8/10)

Substitutes

Tom Carroll: Was only on the field for a couple of minutes, but he will play a key part for his new side as the season progresses. (5/10)

Bafetimbi Gomis: Replaced Bony with 15 minutes remaining, yet he did not receive the same type of service as his fellow striker. More to come from the Frenchman. (6/10)

Jefferson Montero: The tricky winger is a regular threat when on the field, and would start in most Premier League sides. A great impact sub to have once Dyer or Routledge begin to tire. (7/10)

Goal

Ben Foster: Made some decent stops throughout the game, and it would be harsh to blame him for any of the goals. (7/10)

Defence

Andre Wisdom Failed to get forward for large parts of the game, and was lucky not to be punished when he handled the ball on the line. (6/10)

Jonas Olsson: His slip after 87 seconds let Dyer in for the first, and he very nearly headed into his goal shortly after. Not his finest display. (6/10)

Craig Dawson: Not exactly a solid performance, but Dawson made a couple of important headers, particularly in the early stages. (7/10)

Sebastian Pocognoli: Failed to get forward in the same way as he did against Southampton last week, maybe as a result of the knock he picked up at St Mary's. (6/10)

Midfield

Graham Dorrans: Struggled badly to get into the game, and was rightly sacrificed at half time. (5/10)

Craig Gardner: Picked up a booking on the hour which restricted his tackling. Swansea dominated the midfield battle. (6/10)

Youssuf Mulumbu: Usually so effective at stopping opponents in the middle, but Shelvey, Ki and Sigurdsson roamed around freely. (6/10)

Chris Brunt: Managed to get away the Baggies first shot on goal after 25 minutes, but did little other than that at the Liberty Stadium. (6/10)

Attack

Saido Berahino: His burst of pace down the line early in the second half highlighted West Brom's added impetus, but it was a false dawn and he faded as the game progressed. (6/10)

Brown Ideye: That is now over 200 minutes of football without a goal for the record signing. Far too early to judge him, of course, but needs to do a lot more. (6/10)

Substitutes

James Morrison: Forced Fabianski into a save late on, which in truth is more than the majority of his teammates could muster. (7/10)

Cristian Gamboa: Provided a more attacking option from full-back with 20 minutes remaining, yet it was his foul throw which provided the lasting impression. (7/10)

Stephane Sessegnon: Looked lively when coming on, striking the bar and asking questions of the Swansea backline. On this showing, he must start against Everton next time out. (8/10)
