David Beckham reportedly views former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira as his number one choice to become the first manager of Inter Miami next year.
The former Manchester United and England midfielder, who spent five years at Los Angeles Galaxy, has been awarded the 25th MLS franchise, allowing for Miami to join the division for the 2020 season.
Reports have linked a number of high-profile players - such as Luis Suarez, Luka Modric and David Silva - with joining the club.
According to The Telegraph, Beckham considers Vieira, currently manager of Ligue 1 side Nice, to be the primary option for the role.
It is claimed that Belgium manager Roberto Martinez and River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo are also among the candidates.
Vieira, who guided Nice to seventh in his first season at the club, is said to have held talks with the Nice board about the role.
