Inter Milan forward Rodrigo Palacio has said that his dream is to score on his official debut for the Italian club in the Europa League next month.
Palacio joined the Nerazzurri from Genoa earlier this summer and found the target in their 1-1 draw with Scottish giants Celtic in Glasgow in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The Argentine was understandably overjoyed with his goal and said that he was looking forward to scoring against Hajduk Split in the first leg of Inter's Europa League third round qualifier on August 2.
"I scored a good goal on a difficult ball, as it was coming at me very quickly," he told reporters after the game.
"It was important not to come away from Celtic Park with a defeat so we can go into Thursday's game against Hajduk in Split with more confidence.
"We are working hard to be ready for both the Europa League and Serie A. My dream is to score a goal on my official Inter debut."
The second leg of Inter's tie against Hajduk is in Milan on August 9.
