Inter Milan have opened up a 3-1 lead over Hellas Verona after 45 minutes at the San Siro.
The Nerazzurri took the lead in the eighth minute when Jonathan's volley from a corner took a deflection off Vangelis Moras before nestling in Rafael's net.
It was 2-0 four minutes later, when Rodrigo Palacio took advantage of more slack defending from a corner to steer the ball into the net.
Raphael Martinho clawed one back for the visitors with a powerful effort just after the half-hour mark, but Esteban Cambiasso restored the home side's two-goal cushion in the 38th minute.
Walter Mazzarri's side are looking for their first win in three matches, which would leapfrog them above tonight's opponents into fourth place in Serie A.
