A goal from Rodrigo Palacio has given Inter Milan a 1-0 lead in their Serie A match against Torino this afternoon.
Ciro Immobile had a great chance to give his side the lead early on when a loose ball fell to him in the box, but he could only fire his strike over the bar.
Palacio had Inter's first real opportunity midway through the half when his header from Fredy Guarin's cross was beaten away by Daniele Padelli.
In the 30th minute the home side took the lead when Esteban Cambiasso chipped a pass over the top for Palacio, and the striker met to loop a header over the keeper and into the far corner.
Hernanes came close to scoring a second five minutes before the end of the half when he latched onto a loose ball outside the box and drilled an effort just wide of the post.
