Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu has reacted angrily to reports of a training ground row between Andrea Stramaccioni and Antonio Cassano.
The Inter striker reportedly clashed with his coach during training this week and was subsequently dropped from the squad for today's match with Catania.
Chivu believes that the news leaking to the press is far more damaging to the team than the row itself.
He told Sky Italia: "These things happen in all teams, the only difference is that with us it always leaks out.
"The situation is damaging because what happens in the locker room has to remain in there. At least it means the blood is still pumping."
Inter are four points off a Champions League place and city rivals AC Milan in third ahead of the trip to Catania.
