Inter Milan midfielder Hernanes is hopeful that the manner of Sunday's 2-2 draw with Napoli can spark an upturn in fortunes for the club this season.
The Brazilian nodded home a stoppage-time equaliser for the Nerazzurri just moments after Jose Callejon thought that he had won Napoli all three points at San Siro.
The hard-fought point came on the back of heavy defeats to Fiorentina and Cagliari in recent weeks, and Hernanes hopes that his header proves a watershed moment in their season.
"We looked like a real team at last," he told Sky Sport Italia. "We communicated more on the field too.
"At times these moments arrive when you need to pull out that determination from within yourself and turn around a difficult situation.
"After going behind twice, we managed to bring home a point. It's not enough, but it is a sign that the team is taking shape. I can feel the season is beginning from this moment for us.
Walter Mazzarri's side stay ninth in the Serie A table following the result.
