Hull City winger Thomas Ince insists that it was not the "right time" to join Inter Milan after meeting with the club this summer.

Thomas Ince has revealed that he did not feel it was the "right time" to join Inter Milan after meeting with the Serie A side this summer.

The winger flew to Italy to discuss a move to the club before deciding to leave Blackpool for Hull City.

The 22-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail: "I visited San Siro and I remembered when my dad (Paul Ince) played for Inter. However, when I spoke to the directors I understood that it wasn't the right time to join Inter."

Ince has featured in all three of Hull's Premier League matches so far this season.
